13 Mar Tech London Advocates at the heart of Boris’s new London Tech Ambassadors Group
Russ Shaw, founder of Tech London Advocates, has been named as a member of Boris Johnson’s new London Tech Ambassadors Group.
Along with London Technology Week, of which Tech London Advocates is a founding partner, the new group is part of the Mayor’s initiative to ensure London becomes a world leading technology hub.
Boris Johnson spoke today at TechHub: ‘There is nowhere to rival London for tech firms to thrive and grow – we have the talent, the investors, and the entrepreneurial spirit. Our tech offer now spans the capital in its entirety, from Tottenham to Croydon and from Wembley to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I want London’s world-class tech sector to be as well known around the globe as our tourism, arts and financial services – it certainly deserves to be.’
